Asking for reviews without annoying your customers
Timing and frequency matter more than the wording. A simple request cadence that holds up across locations.
Review programs fail for two reasons: nobody asks, or everybody asks too often. Both are process problems, not copywriting problems.
Ask once, shortly after the value is delivered, while the experience is still fresh. Send at most one reminder, then stop.
Cap frequency per contact so repeat customers are not asked every visit. Respect opt-outs across every channel.
Then respond — to positive and negative alike. Response rate is visible to future customers and signals that someone is paying attention.
