Location pages that actually rank (and convert)

Find-and-replace city pages stopped working years ago. Here is the structure we use for brands with dozens of markets.

Most multi-location websites carry the same page fifty times with the city name swapped. Search engines have been discounting that pattern for years, and visitors notice it faster than the algorithm does.

A location page has two jobs: prove the business genuinely operates in that market, and make the next step obvious. Everything on the page should serve one of those two jobs.

Start with what only that location can say — the team, the hours, the service area boundaries, the parking situation, the reviews left by people nearby. Then layer the shared brand content beneath it, not above it.

Structurally, keep one page per physical location, use consistent schema markup, and make sure internal links from your services pages reach each location page in one hop.
